ROBIN Padilla's daughter, Kylie, will star in the upcoming Kapuso series "Blusang Itim".

Kylie will portray the role of Jessa, which was first portrayed by actress Snooky Serna.

In the remake of the 1986 series, Kylie will star opposite Carl Guevarra and Frank Magallona.

Kylie admitted that she is nervous, especially that this is her first starring role. "May kaba siyempre ng konti kasi mas malaki na yung responsibilidad pag ikaw na yung bida," she said.

Now that she is paired with two of the best leading men of the Kapuso channel, Kylie doesn't see any reason for close friend and rumored boyfriend Aljur Abrenica to get jealous of them.

"Bakit naman siya magseselos, we are just friends and understanding naman si Aljur eh," she said, but confirmed that sometimes the "Machete" actor visits her on the set of the new fantaserye.

"Nanonood siya. I think we both like each other's company. Marami na din siya naitulong kasi nagtatanong din ako kung paano sa eksena. We can relate to each other," she said.
